Bruce Tompkins
Writer, agitator extraordinaire Bruce Tompkins has been ruffling feathers in Crumm Mountain every since he first came here to attend the Re-education Camp in 1990. His columns appear regularly in local Crumm Mountain periodicals such as the Crumm Mountain Weekly Planet, Desperate Times, General Strike Quarterly, and United Perverts. Tompkin's columns focus on labor activism, but often delve into social and political matters. In addition to being a columnist, Tompkins is also a prominent labor historian, and has written several comprehensive histories of the labor struggles in early Crumm Mountain. We have received permission from Tompkin's to reprint some of his work on this web page.
